Hello! Welcome to my art portfolio!

This site is intended to communicate with other artists and build a reputation for my journey as an artist. This portfolio helps illustrate my accomplishments, goals, abilities, and who I am overall. It's also a preview of my performance as a potential employer in the art industry. 

​

I created this site to show art companies and the art community what I am capable of and how I want to learn more about the arts. I may lack experience with having an art career as I mostly create artwork for school or a hobby, but I want to step into the career as a professional and challenge myself to all new art forms that I have always wanted to try out. 

​

To talk a little bit about myself, my name is Kevin Picazo-Gonzalez. I am 20 years old, attending North Carolina State University, and majoring in visual arts. In high school I was in an early college school called Union County Early College, meaning that I took high school classes and college classes at the same time. I have already received my associate's degree and aiming for my bachelor's. I live in Monroe, North Carolina, but during the school year I am an on-campus resident.

I love to have fun, explore new things, try new things, and love to talk to people. I always try to challenge myself and work hard in everything I do. At times I can be pretty shy and quiet, but when you get to know me more I can't stop being cheerful, funny, and kind. I work hard for myself, but also for others, especially for my parents. 

​

I am a first generation college student, and I work hard to hopefully help my parents out in the future. I love art and has always been my form of relaxing, and having fun. I love to read comics/manga, watch movies, and play some video games now and then. I enjoy the little things in life and love to help people and make them smile. 

​

Art is something essential to all as it is always around us in some shape or form. I want to create art and want to learn all that I can about it so that I too can create something that someone will be thrilled to have or see. Make them laugh, smile, and happy. Thats why I want to pursue become an artist and learn all forms of art there are in the world.

Fun Facts-

• I was a teacher for my church for two years

• I got to speak in my high school graduation

• In high school I became the UNO Champion 

• My friend was in a Mr. Beast video, and Mr. Beast wished me a happy birthday
